An impressive stone statue in the center of the room makes for a great focal point and conversation piece for gathering students, as well as a symbol of pride for the school, being none other than a bizarre representation of the founder of Lumenspire, Eldric Lumenshade.
A powerful wizard of his time, Eldric had a strong affinity for all living things. A weakness, some would say. Regardless, he heralded in a new age of magic that forever changed the wizarding world, though one must wonder what great feats he might have achieved if he hadn’t spent so much of his focus on creating this academy.
The statue itself depicts Eldric emerging from the trunk of a great tree, his stone arms stretched out like branches – one hand is empty and the other holds a stone torch. He looks towards the entrance of the common room, ready to greet students with open arms.
