GRANDFATHER CLOCK

Throughout this old house you’ve heard floorboards creaking, howling gusts of wind, rain and thunder, and the incessant ticking of this ancient grandfather clock that stands here taller than you. The hinged body of the clock, from within which you can hear the pendulum’s ticking, contains an interesting depiction of a staircase leading into a village, but it refuses to open. The face of the clock is protected by a small glass door which is locked by key. Inside, you notice the clock face has no hands, and tucked in a corner beneath it something is wrapped in a bundle of green cloth. If you had the key, you could unlock the clock face.
