The creepy old toy chest sits against the wall. It looks even creepier and older than before. Dark stains seep from the opening near the top, and for a moment you hesitate to lift open the lid. Inside, you find Elsie’s stuffed bunny and an oracle board.
You grab the stuffed bunny and hold it up to get a good look. You don’t remember it being splattered with what looks like blood… You can’t help but notice that while you know it’s merely a toy, it feels somehow lifeless in your hands now. The pocket watch is nowhere to be found, nor is the presence of Elsie.
As you pick up the harrowing oracle board, the smell of freshly torched wood stings your nostrils. You quickly notice that several letters on the board have been burned off, and the remaining blackened marks are still hot to the touch.
