STUDY TABLE

The common room is full of similar looking study tables, but there’s something about the objects on this one that causes you pause. The table reminds you of the nights you spent studying the fine magical arts of healing, repairing, and restoration. A writing quill has been split into two and lies on the table next to some parchment, as well as a deck of wizard’s cards.

You pick up the two pieces of the writing quill and notice that it appears as if it were snapped in half on purpose.  As you inspect the broken utensil, you notice the engraving on the side:

ENCHANTISCRIPT

This is an autoquill! Rather, it was an autoquill. They’re not much good once they’ve been snapped in two. That said, you think you might be able to fix it with a nifty spell you learned last year! What was it again? Ah yes:

With precision, you guide your wand through the air above the broken autoquill and recite the incantation,

Mendelix Reparare!

The two autoquill pieces wondrously levitate into the air before joining together as one! You pick up the newly restored autoquill and place the end to some blank parchment.

Nothing happens. Hmm, the autoquill must need an activation word. If you know it, you can enter it here:

You pick up the deck of wizards cards. Only the most famous wizards and witches make it onto these cards, and many a student has wasted their money on trying to collect them all. If you take some time, you can arrange the cards however you wish and flip through them at your leisure.

You sort the cards in alphabetical order.

You shuffle the cards.
