The crafting table is now a tangle of chaos. The unrestrained hands of the others have left multiple projects in shambles. You quickly scan the table for the Perpetual Energy Maker and… phew, it’s still there, along with the open lockbox and alarm clock.
The only thing left inside is a grade sheet from one of Mr. Hunefeld’s math classes. You don’t recall this class being so difficult!
Perhaps Principal Roy was onto something after all. It looks like the billowing smoke has ceased, and the device is no longer leaking oil. While it’s clearly unfinished, you may be able to build upon the work already done and have it fully functional in a year or two! You hide it behind some tools and decide to come back for it later.
