CRAFTING TABLE

You see a lot of junk scattered about on the crafting table. Principal Roy really had his hands in all sorts of projects. There are wood crafting tools, a soldering iron, loose wires and some other knickknacks. You also notice a lockbox, an alarm clock, and a strange invention.

It's a custom-built wooden lockbox with a keypad and some wires sticking out. It looks like it's held together with glue, but you're unable to pry it open. Engraved on the top is the following:
"TEXQ EXP X EBXA XKA QXFI, YRQ KL YLAV?"

CHECK THE ALARM CLOCK

It’s an old digital alarm clock, but it looks like Principal Roy’s been messing with it. A few wires are sticking out, there are screws in weird places, and a mini printer has been glued to the top. Surprisingly, the alarm clock works! The display is flashing, and you can set the time if you’d like.

CHECK THE STRANGE INVENTION

You find a wild invention labeled, “GLOVEBAT”. It’s a baseball glove fastened to a baseball bat with duct tape. You give it a try, but ultimately decide that it’s ahead of its time. Reluctantly, you sit the glovebat back on the table.
