The card in your hand makes you go cold. It is the Redress card. Is there really some magic at play here? You don’t detect anything of a mystical nature from the deck, and yet the card stares at you as if sentient. The burnished gold scales loom large on the dark background, waiting to weigh out imminent justice. You find your gaze settling on the skull medallion crowning the scales. Is it implying that these murders will see justice? Or that your quest is doomed? You drop the card to the table. This is nonsense, right? Card or no card, you’ll make sure Auberon and Tua’la are avenged.
