BATHROOM

The bathroom’s soft pastels, pale pink wallpaper and pale green tile, now seem tarnished. You notice the paper is peeling away in places, and there are several broken tiles. The faint odor of rot lingers in the air. A wave of melancholy hits you – that the one small oasis that seemed untouched by the horrors in the rest of the house is now gone.
