You accuse Miss Lehman of the MURDER of Principal Roy and of the subsequent MURDER of Vice Principal Alden. Her colleagues gasp in surprise yet steadily step away, isolating the Art Teacher in a corner of the room.
Sirens pierce the pounding sounds of the rain, and as a streak of lightning flashes amidst a howling wind, a booming thunder is cut short by the pounding of fists at the door.
“POLICE, OPEN UP!”
Officers rush in and begin their investigation as you explain what you think happened.
Miss Lehman tries to plead her case.
“You can’t possibly be serious?! Surely this is just a scene staged in order to out the true murderer! Wait, wait, ow! Don’t you think the cuffs are a bit much? No need to push! Loves, here is where you say “ANNNND SCENE!” … ANNND SCENE…? No, no, no. Where are we going? No, this is all just a ploy, just an act, right? No need to take me all the way to the police car in the rain. Look around, look at the faces! Don’t you see guilt painted on someone else’s face? Oh goodness, this is… this isn’t an act. You really think I did these horrible things, all because of some art supplies? My passion is for creation, not destruction! Please, you have to believe me, officers, PLEASE!“
The police, satisfied with your detective work, escort the art teacher out of the house and into their squad car. She’ll likely spend the rest of her life behind bars for the murder of Principal Carlton Roy and Vice Principal Alden. Meanwhile, the real murderer will probably flee the country as soon as they can and spend the rest of their life on a beach sipping margaritas. Maybe you should take another look at the evidence and reconsider your choice?
