Here lies the body of Principal Carlton Roy. The year you graduated was his first year as Principal of Valley View High. He was a big fan of school sports! He came to every home game you played, and even some of the away games. It looks like he was struck in the head by something heavy. A baseball bat could do something like this, or maybe that bloody trophy on the floor next to him. There’s a piece of paper sticking out of his pocket.
You pick up the bloody trophy. On second thought, maybe you shouldn’t touch crime scene evidence? Oh well, what’s done is done. It’s a “Principal of the Year” trophy from the year you graduated. Is “Principal of the Year” really a thing, or did he just have this made for himself? Trophies should really only be given for sports. Anyway, this one is covered in blood at the base. It looks like someone drew the number “1” on it with a blue marker.
You notice a piece of paper sticking out of the Principal’s pocket. You grab it and take a look:
