CAMERA

Ah yes, a digital camera! These bad boys replaced instant cameras in the tech-tree of photography back in the 90s, but the first actual digital camera was developed by Kodak engineer Steven Sasson in 1975. He built a prototype from a movie camera lens, a handful of Motorola parts, 16 batteries and some newly invented Fairchild CCD electronic sensors. I wonder what sort of photography Principal Roy was into:

Hmm, maybe the photos are taken poorly on purpose? Like an art thing? Or maybe photography just wasn’t his strong suit. Then again, how hard could it be? Even you could take an awesome photo. Say, this would be a great time to snag a selfie with someone nearby, or take a quick photo of the rest of the gang figuring out the murder. Go ahead!
